Many "entrepreneurs" nearby. Tour this property (don't stay) to understand the sad and forgotten underclass in the US. I felt more sorry AND unsafe; and figured my car was gonna have a busted window overnight. It didn't.

There were homeless people every where, drug addicts that looked like zombies, drug dealers that loitered everywhere. A prostitute by the front door.

My wife and I are stay here for 2 nights before cruise boarding. If you don't mind to smell Marijuana all the time in your room; if you don't mind the floor is dirtier than out side road; if you don't mind to see people wondering around the property that we feel unsafe to go out after 6pm, then go ahead to book the house(don't feel it is a motel at all ).

The owners and staff are friendly. Room was clean and no roaches. Bed was comfortable. The area around the property looks so so but there were no issues while I was there. Spent 5 days there

People’s enter in the room and stolen all my shopping bags,My items cameras,Jewelry,everything the police check de cameras but never find the guys,I’m never back and not recommending people smoke drugs not good looking people live in the hotel 👎

This was the most disgusting hotel i have ever been to. As we were trying to unlock our room a babbling woman walked up to us, I have no clue what she was saying but I do know she was strung out on drugs. The room was gross, it smelled like body odor. It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The sheets were dirty, the pillows looked used, there was someone’s hair on the pillows. I walked to the office and requested clean blankets, sheets and pillow cases and was told they don’t have extra and there is nothing hey could do. The property is not safe, there are drug addicts in the parking lot. I ended up taking my suit case with me anytime i left the hotel. Do NOT stay here.

The hotel was located relatively close to the freeway but without any traffic noise issues, so it allowed for easy access to all local areas. There was a gas station opposite, which had a number of people visible hanging around. A police car was present one night and appeared to be dealing with this. The car park was fenced but without a gate, so these things made me concerned on arrival. The room was clean, but the door lock had a panel missing on the inside. The bathroom smelt strongly of ammonia. The room was OK to sleep in and had a fridge. There was a lot of noise late at night, from fellow guests playing very loud music. The hotel staff did not do anything about this, and the telephone in the bedroom did not work to report this. While the hotel was convenient and looked nice, it was not really an enjoyable stay. I would not book again and would not recommend it.

We arrived at 5 PM on Wednesday and the front desk was closed. Already had to check in at night desk. Asked for a luggage cart and after waiting 10 minutes, someone came with a grocery cart with a broken wheel for us to use. Took an elevator to get to our third floor room and the floor of the elevator was soaking in urine and had feces in it. Got into the room. The floors and walls were dirty. The sheets were still stained. About 45 minutes later, all of the power went out in the room, took them about 25 minutes to fix. It said it must’ve been a bad breaker asked for them to clean the room after the first day and the only thing they did was supply a new set of towels and one roll of toilet paper. Seems your daily ration is only one roll of toilet paper per room room was right next to the stairs , where people would routinely sit at all hours of the day and night smoking. on the second day, I got our dirty clothes together, prepared to do some laundry only to be told the laundry is not working. In fact, there was no laundry, even though the property it was advertised is having one. we were there. We had to get our room card reprogrammed because it would lock us out in the afternoon each day. Finally, the location of the hotel is not in a great part of town. There’s a gas station right across the street that apparently is a homeless area 24 seven. The only bright of the day was the workers were fairly nice, although only a few spoke English.

I recommend reading other reviews on this. many transients and/or homeless staying at the hotel. Many people loitering outside in large groups, trash noted throughout neighborhood. Cleanliness was poor, bed was worn out, room had broken items including lights, shades and dresser drawer. I swear I heard a gunshot at about 3am. Many arguments heard throughout the night. Fear of my car being vandalized/stolen. Very uncomfortable "vacation" overall created stressful sleep. Ended up checking out early and going elsewhere. I didn't research enough, turns out 1 out of 11 people are victims of crime in Ybor City...

The sheets had burn holes the drawers had loose tobacco the towels had dirt and food on them I had a non smoking room but could tell it’s been smoked in. Screws were falling out of the door the microwave had food in it the tables had burn marks all over it and the bed smelled like smoke. I took plenty of pictures the scariest thing was all the homeless that gather in the front when you pull in very unwelcoming.

When we got to our room, the door was open. The bathroom door didn’t have a door knob and had been repaired but not painted. The floor behind the bathroom door was extremely dirty. There was mold on the base of the toilet. The curling in the room was peeling. The entire room needed to be painted there was stains all over the walls.

The room was gross. Floors were dirty, shower tub black and disgusting, bed had debris on it. Pillows were yellow from being soiled. Could not get a refund when i asked front desk, my family was not safe here.

There were homeless people laying across the street on the sidewalk. People walking the streets everywhere and all around the property. Just didn't feel like we were in a good and safe area. Rooms are supposed to be non-smoking but smell like they are musty with old cigarette.
