Enjoy quiet and idyllic surroundings, yet close to Busch Gardens (6.4 miles and 15 minute drive), USF/Moffitt Cancer Center (4.4 miles and 12 minute drive), and downtown Tampa (12 miles). Easy access to major highways (0.25 miles to 41 and 2.5 miles to highway I-275). The beautiful beaches of Clearwater are 36 miles and a 45 minute drive away. The home has been newly updated throughout with luxury features. Expansive views of the beautiful lake can be enjoyed from numerous large windows in the kitchen and living room and a French door in the master bedroom. The single story home features a large kitchen with over-sized island, adjacent formal dining room, a large living room with a baby grand piano, and a laundry room with state of the art washer and dryer. The spacious master bedroom has 2 king beds, a sitting area with sofa and lounge, and a large private luxury master bathroom with a soaking tub and a frameless shower all surrounded by beautiful travertine tiles. A large French door with views of the lake leads to a private new paver patio with lounge chairs. The second bedroom has two full beds, and has its own private bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 twin beds. All beds feature luxurious high-end thick mattresses as well as high quality bed sheets of at least 1000 thread count. There are 3 sofas in the living room, 2 of which are sleepable for adults and 1 for children. The brand new kitchen features an over-sized island, maple cabinets, granite counter tops, high-end stainless steel appliances including a 36 inch induction stove, and a wine cooler. Beautiful tile work throughout all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. French pattern travertine tile floors in the kitchen, living room, dining room and bathrooms, and high-end vinyl flooring in the bedrooms. There is a 65 inch smart TV with sound bar in the family room with cable TV. All bedrooms are also equipped with large smart Roku TVs (50”, 50” and 43”) including Netflix, news channels and many others. There is a Blueray/DVD player in the master bedroom as well. The house is located directly on a beautiful fishing lake, which is about 30-40 feet behind the back of the house. The covered lanai in the back of the house flows seamlessly from the living room and has a large wood patio dining set, where the guests can enjoy unobstructed lake view. There is a stained-concrete patio outside the lanai featuring a conversation set and a Weber grill. There is also a stone table and stone benches located close to the lake. Guests can enjoy fishing and watching abundant wildlife on the lake including ducks, eagles, herons and various types of exotic birds. The house is gated on both sides and there is room for 2 vehicles to park in the driveway, with plenty of parking outside the fence along the street. The house is secured in the front and back by 24/7 monitoring cameras, and the side and back yards are completely fenced. The house is wired with a state-of-the-art Nest smart thermostat. Tampa's weather is warm throughout the year. This is really an ideal place for a family gathering or an extended stay. The maximum number of people that should be at the property throughout your stay are the ones you have listed at the time the reservation are made. Its location on a small lake is attractive and convenient to shopping and Tampa area attractions. We enjoyed seeing many shorebirds, ospreys, and even sandhill cranes around the backyard. The house was clean and reasonably well equipped and the beds in the master bedroom were comfortable. Unfortunately, little else in the house was comfortable. There is no comfortable seating in the living room; the sofas are well beyond their useful life. The dramatically oversized island in the kitchen makes any work there difficult for one person and virtually impossible for two. The view of the lake from the back porch is obscured by dirty plastic sheeting that covers the screens. And while we were there, we experienced almostcontinuous systems failures. The sliding doors to the porch were jammed and unusable when we arrived. The clothes dryer failed completely and had to be replaced. The HVAC system first sprang a leak (outside) and then began a noisy vibration. The kitchen drain and garbage disposal clogged (through no fault of ours) and required major work to remove impediments in the drainage pipes. To his credit, the property manager Mike acted promptly to address each of these problems, but we lived in a regular state of repair. ##### Jon B. Plenty of room and all the extras. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms had plenty of soap, shampoo and towels. Backyard was a wonderful retreat! My dog loved it out there and so did my son who enjoys fishing.Location was perfect for our trips to Moffitt, Adventure Island and Busch Gardens. Lots of amenities around this area. His 93-year-old sister lives in Tampa. It didn't disappoint, and I'm a hero for finding the place. Everything was spotless. There is a TV in every bedroom and 3 full bathrooms. It was spacious, so nobody got in anybody's way. My only regret is that we didn't get an Uber to get there. We rented a car and didn't even leave the place until it was time to go to the airport. Everything that could be needed is nearby, and the neighborhood is nice, quiet, and peaceful. The lake is teeming with fish, and I caught the biggest fish that I have ever caught in my entire life. This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. ##### Willie W. Everything looked exactly as the pictures showed! The house definitely gives a chill relaxing vibe. I had some family come visit us and they loved everything about it! The owner would check in through the app just to make sure everything is going okay and to see if you need anything. The Owner also has a quick response time as well! We are not typically hotel people and were looking for somewhere with a little space. This home fit our needs perfectly and the host was flexible after we communicated that one of the treatments would take a little longer than anticipated on check-out day. Best regards to Mike and being super kind and patient given what we are going through. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, two ensuite and one just across the hall. The rooms were spacious, especially the master bedroom. The beds were comfortable, too, with plenty of pillows. The backyard was beautiful, with a calm lake setting. Overall, the location was convenient, though there are two caveats: it's an older neighborhood with a mix of mostly older and a few newer homes, and the street is narrow so neighbors park on the street, including on the edge of the VRBO property and directly behind the driveway (making backing out a bit difficult). Second, there are railroad tracks very nearby. That didn't bother us in the master bedroom, but family members in the other bedrooms said they were awakened by train horns. Both were more minor inconveniences than major problems. The best things about the property were the sparkling cleanliness; the convenient, fully-equipped modern kitchen with icemaking refrigerator, island seating, and open floorplan; the lovely lakefront backyard; the pet friendliness (yay! Our sweet Cavalier enjoyed flopping down on the cool tile, and loved chasing lizards); the comfort of each bedroom having a TV, even if we never did figure out how to make the cable in the living room work; security cameras for safety; the lack of hidden fees (some VRBO owners add ridiculous charges like "additional guest" fees even when the number of bedrooms exceeds the number of guests); and the convenience of check-out (there were no elaborate requirements to strip the beds or perform other tasks that are typically included in cleaning fees). The location was convenient to Lutz, Carollwood, and north Tampa. ##### Alyssa F. The lake in back creates a peaceful space and the open concept kitchen, living room and screened porch creates plenty of room. Communication with the owner was perfect. The only issues we have with the house is that the propane tank ran out while we were grilling and we didn’t see a back up tank. And the beds in the master bedroom were too soft for my taste. Close to USF and Busch Gardens. Roomy enough for a large group including your pet. Mike was very accommodating and quickly responded to questions.
