The hotel itself is beautiful, relaxing, and perfectly set up for a laid-back beach stay. The hotel area is super nice, the room was great, and lots of hammocks and beach chairs in a private area. The man working the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is having to walk through the restaurant entrance, past the heat of the kitchens etc to get to the hotel room. Only reason it’s 4 not a 5

Rolando and Audrey (at the front desk) were amazing! They helped arrange our transportation from the airport (both ways) but also arranged a shuttle to see friends over an hour away. They also arranged our surf lesson with Luis and we had THE BEST TIME. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great and had a “fire show” on the beach. We stayed in the Supreme room and the beds were great, it was super clean. We heard music from somewhere down the street until late, but it didn’t bother us. The town of Tamarindo is family friendly, lots of shops and restaurants. I felt very safe the entire time we were there. We will definitely be back, we only spent a couple of days and I want at least a week next time. Pura Vida!

Loved being right on the beach, and access to hammocks, and having a little private place to sit facing the sea. Simple and comfy room. I recommend walking to Derecho Sagrado for an outstanding cup of coffee.

Clean room, great staff and so close to the beach! Only reason for not having five stars is our last night we heard music until about 3:30 am. Not sure where it was coming from, but it definitely affected our sleep.

We had a really lovely three night stay. Both Rolando and Audrey were helpful and nice. The room really suited our family with the king size bed on the main floor and twin beds in the loft. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant that shares the site and the massages in the tent on site were fabulous and so well priced. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
