Villa Paraíso Jacques is a tropical retreat for families and friends who want comfort alongside a real connection with nature. From the private pool and wooden deck you look straight onto the paddock where our horses graze freely, with your own garden of exotic plants and fruit trees just beyond.

The villa is a 10 to 15 minute walk (or 5 minute drive) from Playa Avellanas, where you can surf, swim, or simply watch the sunset.

THE ESTATE
The villa sits on a 5 hectare (12.4 acre) equestrian estate, set within a 30 hectare organic farm. Guests are free to walk the grounds, meet the animals and wander the orchards.

• Riding lessons, beach rides and mountain trails with ocean views, arranged on request and booked separately from your stay
• Horses grazing directly beyond your garden, close enough to greet from the poolside

THE LOCATION
Playa Avellanas is one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, and Playa Negra, known for its world class surf, is a short drive away. Tamarindo is roughly 25 minutes.

GUEST ACCESS
The villa, garden and pool are entirely private for your stay, and the wider estate and farm are yours to explore. Finca Shambalah is home to only a small number of private residences, so the property stays quiet and uncrowded.
