The apartment isn't huge but it doesn't need to be as it is perfect and provides everything you need for your stay. On arrival we had been given clear instructions about picking our keys up and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Talloires isn't huge but it is very popular with locals so can be very busy at weekends but our apartment was right in the centre so wasn't far from anything. Bar, restaurants, supermarket and lake front on your doorstep. Very convenient for all your day to day needs. Most of the restaurants are on the pricey side but that is a reflection of where you are. The scenery is outstanding and therefore very popular with sport fanatics. A bike ride is a must and it's great to watch the paragliders who regularly fill the skies. Annecy itself is a great place to visit by boat and spend the day. There are also plenty of places around the lake and beyond. Chamonix would be a great day out too. The only tiny negative is the refuge collection twice a week at 3.45 am which will wake you, I'm sure there is a reason why they collect at that time! I would certainly recommend this apartment, it was a good price and Michelle popped in to make sure everything was OK. You would be hard pushed to find anything better. ##### Margaret M. Michelle, the manager was just the type of person you hope to encounter in this role. All of the communication with her was seamless as she anticipated and accommodated our every need. During an untypical Talloires heatwave, having air con saved the day. With the dual paned windows closed, the apartment is quiet, but with windows open be prepared for traffic noise.
