"Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. Top Talley Hotel Reviews

The Rose and Crown Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely stay, staff are fantastic, food is lovely. Breakfast is a must. Welsh cakes are beautiful"

USK AND RAILWAY INN

10/10 Excellent

"An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge."

The Diplomat Hotel and Spa

8/10 Good

"Nice place to stay except for a singer performing in the bar due to a function taking place. He was directly below our room by the open staircase and didn’t finish until midnight. So it felt as if he was in the room with us. Apart from that the hotel is good, room nice and clean with a spotless bathroom. I’d go for a king room next time though as the bed was standard double and ask for a quiet area in case there’s an event in the evening."

The Black Lion Royal Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a lovely one night stay, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Peter welcomed us into the hotel and made us feel at home straight away. He showed us up to our room and was friendly and helpful. Thank you for our stay, if we are in the area again we would definitely stay here again."
