The driveway to the cabin is not bad. It's steep but our front wheel drive suv, made it no problem. Probably not a car. Also it's a steep hill, so watch your footing. The area is remote on top of the mountains, along super long, winding roads. Be careful driving at night, as it gets very foggy. But the area is gorgeous, quiet, peaceful. Right outside of good hiking spots and Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Great place. The host was awesome, and responded quickly to any questions. Number one advice, remember to keep your key in lockbox. With no signal whatsoever and no wifi, we couldn't message or call the host. There are roads with no signs, so even with my paper directions we very nearly missed the wedding because we got lost and had no service to put it into Google Maps. Thank goodness for a park ranger who pointed us in the right direction. We got back and my boyfriend laid down to rest and watch TV and found it also didn't work. Everything was great about the property, but there are a few things I would like to have had mentioned to me, so I'll mention them below. The electricity will go out with rain, not just storms, so have food available that doesn't need cooked or heated. The shower is awkward, soaks the floor, and the head doesn't move to any usable position. You will be taking a bath more often than not. The TV doesn't like the 2g internet and didn't want to connect to the 5g. I used screen casting to watch anything on the TV. The distance to town is not far, but it is all up or down hill and will take a good bit of time, so get your groceries before going up to the property.
