Attractive hotel within the capitol district
Hotel is very nicely appointed; lovely lounge with a TV and nice to look at. Room was a suite; an additional room with a sofa, a good desk and a TV that swiveled so you could watch from either the bed or the sofa. 24-hour coffee and tea, fitness room, all the usual goodies. TV had one HBO and one 24-hour movie channel. There was an IHOP across the street and a few restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast had strawberries and some extras. They gave cheese and ham instead of the usual hot sausages.
The only issue (and it became bigger than it should have) I had was with the shower and the reaction to my notification of it. Shower had very little water pressure. When the front desk clerk asked me about the stay, I mentioned that the shower was the only problem. She got huffy and told me since I booked through a third-party I couldn't get reimbursement from the hotel. I wasn't looking for reimbursement; just wanted to notify the hotel of the issue. Clerk reaction was very unpleasant (maybe a lot of people ask for money back).
