We found an egg in our toilet...
We came home from our day out in town to find a hard boiled egg in our toilet. We tried to call down to the front desk, but the phone didn't work. Unsure of what else the cleaning staff did in our room while they were eating their hard boiled eggs and leaving trash around, we decided to leave. The front desk issued a refund for the remainder of our planned stay with no problems when I showed them the picture. We also had an issue with the key cards, none of them worked more than once. They also did not have our reservation when we arrived and we had to call expedia to have them resend the reservation information, luckily (or rather unluckily as we found out) there was an available room. Also, there were 2 bed in our room and one of the beds sheets were visible dirty. Lastly, the room felt like we were in a moist, dirty rag the whole time. So if you enjoy having a stressful hotel stay and feeling disgusting in your room, this is the place for you. My wife and I decided that we will never stay at a red roof again.
