Dog-friendly, reasonable, but not clean.

The front desk clerk — Clarence? — was amazing and kind and completely made me want to give this hotel a great review. I've had great Red Roof stays before, and I've had bad ones. Clarence could not make up for a filthy floor — feet turned black from walking on it — and the dirty sock we found in the room. The room, although non-smoking, reeked of smoke. Tried calling the front desk twice with no answer, and I had to be at an event, so we left and decided to suck it up (we didn't want to change rooms or have housekeeping at 10 p.m. when we returned). Clarence deserves a better property, because he's a great ambassador for the brand.
