Downtown Historic district at Cascades Park, Best location

  • Our house is in the Historic district and a few minutes walk to the Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. A short walk to Meyers park with an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a playground and a natural setting for walking.
    Cascades park is a beautiful park with concrete paths for walking, running or biking which lead to The Capitol/downtown, FSU, FAMU, St Marks trail and other destinations throughout the city. The Proof Brewery and a variety of restaurants are close by. Florida State University is just beyond the downtown area and a short walk. There is a railroad track that runs through downtown Tallahassee and on occasion the warning horn is heard.
