The hotel itself has a restaurant and it was quite good and quite a good portion. The staff are wonderful and the owner speaks English! He was so very helpful, helping us get reservations, plan excursions and rent a car, such a nice and helpful fellow. The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure my every need was taken care of. Be aware there are two ferries from Ishigaki, and only one has a shuttle to the hotel. If you’re going to rent a car book it early, but the island is very doable without a car as long as you go with the flow. The hotel is close to the river ferry which takes you to waterfall hike. And there are many local tours for paddle boarding, canoeing into the mangroves, snorkeling, etc. The sunsets at the hotel are beautiful and there are hammocks on the roof for stargazing. The food was wonderful as well! Super freundliches Besitzerehepaar welches sehr gut Englisch spricht. Extrem ruhig, nur die Wellen des Meeres sind zum Höhren. Mit dem Bus erreicht man auf der Insel alles, aber er fährt nur 4x pro Richtung.
