However, this hotel charged my debit card without my authorization. I tried to explain the situation using a translation app since they don’t speak English well. Then the receptionist showed me a translation that said , “no way”. A different receptionist tried to fix the situation the next day, but my card had already been charged. Therefore, I had a negative balance in my U.S. bank account and had to borrow money. It was a horrible experience. The customer service was horrendous upon arrival. It’s not foreigner friendly at all.
