When traveling in Taiwan, I'm not often sure what I get when I book a hotel at good price. But at the hotel the staff were actually friendly. The hotel is NOT very near the HSR, you actually have to take the MRT and then walk another 15 min along a road with no pavement (so you are literally walking on the road). The roads are rather dark at night, hence solo/ female/ family travellers or those with alot of luggage may want to take note (otherwise take a cab there). The hotel is in a nice little town WuRi, no touristy stuff here. Have to pay extra for cleaning btw (only stayed 2 days so did not opt for that). Bed is queen size so its small.
