Room also had good view of the nearby plaza beside the train station. I booked my room the day before and got a confirmation from expedia, but when I arrived at the hotel, they told me my reservation wasn’t in their system. However, they checked me in and everything went smoothly. I didn‘t booked breakfast but it was included. The hotel is close to Taichung Train station and Miyahara. The room was ok, a little bit run-down, the carpet had stains and the wallpaper had scratch marks. They give us room at the 8th floor which super dirty. Went to front desk and ask for another clean room. They move us to 12th floor which looks like newly renovated . Plenty of restaurants and shops around. Lot of homeless people sleeping outside the station and this hotel. Great 2nd floor breakfast room with street view, but breakfast was only ok. Eggs and vegetables or noodles. Coffee, toast and jam and juice mainly with fresh fruit.
