Cute but basic cottage
The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.

Gentle Gortagown
I had a relatively long stay in this dear cottage where I was extremely happy. The setting is quite beautiful with views of rolling hills and the Caha Mountains on the Beara Peninsula. It is pastoral and peaceful, secure, quiet, and private. The location is excellent for exploring the three peninsulas of County Kerry (Iveragh, Beara, and Dingle) and the Killarney National Park. The owners are the best landlords I've ever encountered: kind, helpful, responsive, and fully invested in my comfort and satisfaction. This venerable dwelling is not luxurious, but it is charming, comfortable, well situated, and very affordable. If you are seeking an authentic cottage experience in glorious Kerry, this would be an excellent option for you.

Lovely cottage. Spacious with everything you could want in leafy country not far from Sneen. Our Lanlord Charlie was friendly and informative. We had a very small problem with elecricity connection which was repaired immediatly We discussed farming issues and the local places to see This was the best cottage by far during our trip to Ireland from Australia and we did not want to leave Very highly recommended
