"For people that love to walk around quiet, not people crowded area. This is the place to go! Restaurants and gift shops are only about a 10 min walk and also a bus stop about the same walk! Very friendly and all cleaned up every day my lady and I went out to explore or eat out! Will come back if ever decide to come back to Japan!"
"Perfect location and very walkable from the train and bus station. The staff was beyond pleasant and incredibly helpful. You can’t help but smile at every interaction. Highly recommend. "
"It was beyond our expectations with the price we were charged. Room price is excellent so that we can afford to pay the breakfast which is also great selections."

"The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions.
There was a short fireworks show every evening from about 8:30 to 9 (in the beginning of August.) We had a great view from the walking bridge over the main road just a two minute walk from the apartment. The fireworks were set off far from the apartment, so it was not too loud.
Local restaurants were not great, but there was a super market where we could pickup things for breakfast. The small refrigerator and microwave made it easy to keep and heat food without using the “kitchenette” which had a 500 yen extra fee for its use.
Near the castle and other attractions, restaurants were very good. "
"Very friendly staff. Great location. Highly recommended but it does feel like it could use a renovation someday. It is showing its age a little. Luckily the bathrooms and bedrooms are clean and spacious and have a dip-back-in-time vibe. Knobs control the clock radio set in the bed stand. Etc. WiFi good. AC good and necessary this summer. "
