Hotel Murano

Pros: The amazing view and décor in the lobby.
Hotel Murano is a very nice upscale Hotel. The front desk staff at check in were very friendly, upbeat and helpful. The restaurant staff was very attentive and polite. The food was okay(I expected better). The room was very nice and clean. Loved the view from my window 20+ floors up. I did not like that I was put in a room right next to the elevator. During the night I could hear the elevator going up and down, so my sleep was not very peaceful. Other than that a really great experience. I would stay here again.

Flashy lobby, tired rooms

Nice hotel with appealing lobby area but the rooms are really tired and desperately in need of a refit. Beds are nice, room was clean. Feels like a cheaper ALoft hotel. This is at best a $90/night hotel.

Nice hotel, but better customer service wont hurt

We stayed there for 2 nights. Had to carry my own luggage with no bellhop in sight. I would think for $$ i paid these services would be provided. Also, lighting in the room was very VERY dark, no lamps on the ceiling, just on the side of the beds. Since I was there to prep for the wedding, all the makeup and hair had to be done in the bathroom, which was very inconvenient. When we asked front desk for additional lamps, we were told nothing can be done. Also, the fact that I needed to pay for parking while staying in the hotel, is a little weird, i have stayed in differrent hotels and its the first where I had to pay for parking. Overall, not sure if I want to return

Close to the hospital

We were in search of much needed sleep and found this gem within a mile of the hospital we needed to be at. It's right down town by many great Tacoma places. It was reasonably priced, welcoming to walk in to and very comfortable beds!

Parking spaces are small and difficult to get. They do not restock the rooms nightly so bring some water or whatever you need from the local store as it is not available at the hotel.

The room was small for the price but very clean, if you like having extra towels you should ask because only minimum are provided. Overall a nice stay
