Their is a sari-sari/grocery store below the hotel which makes it convenient for the guests. The hotel staff are nice especially the owner, i think and the guy who keep assested me. The room is okay but when i look into the towels looks soo old, dirty and smelly. Their is no shower and only small water drip from the faucet. About the toiletress, they only give me a round of tissue and small bar of body soap. Aircon was cold. Lock on door was not good, we pushed a bed in front of the door. Hallways could use a new coat of paint, but overall condition wasn’t too bad. For three adults, only breakfast for two was included. Rooms were above their minimart, which was open late. People were drinking beer on terrace in front of the minimart. A lot of hotels in Tacloban now although for family setup the Hayward had a good rate, 1450 pesos, but you could get two their small rooms for 1300. ##### mark Stayed 1 night in Dec 2017
