Fantastic setting, beautiful rooms and amenities, and 5-star service. This is a family-run guesthouse, and Maria knows the area, the history, the products, and the hospitality business. Just a gem. I regret that I didn’t build in a day just to relax, visit one or 2 of the nearby (5 minute drive) wineries, and relax by the pool with the spectacular view of the Valley. Casa do Santo receives my highest recommendation. "

"We really enjoyed our stay as the Casa de São Domingos is a lovely property. The room and attached bath was very nice and the patio had a view of the Duro River. The breakfast was well done and the staff excellent. "
