The house is cute and it’s almost waterfront (fyi there’s zero shore/beach though). We appreciated that the king size mattress was comfortable and there was WiFi and a handful of streaming services already logged in and ready to watch. However, the kitchen is lacking anything beyond the most basic pots & pans and plastic dishes. Good luck if you need a cheese grater, blender, or ice since the ice maker doesn’t work, etc. The house also wasn’t as clean as it should have been - all the pulls in the kitchen felt greasy/waxy, the front of the oven, microwave and refrigerator were pretty gross, and there were hairs in the shower and on the plastic shower curtain. Speaking of the shower, the water pressure is so forceful that it’s practically abrasive and it makes the hot water not last long enough for even a regular length shower. Lastly, the kayaks that were supposed to be there were not there, and the neighborhood traffic and nearby train are VERY loud from inside the house.
