Nach etlichen Aufenthalten in Westerland direkt am Meer (…Metropol) haben wir (zwei ältere Ehepaare) es diesmal gewagt eine Wohnung etwas abgelegen zu mieten. Die Wohnung erwartete uns in einem hervorragenden Zustand und überzeugte mit ihrem großzügigen Raumangebot, geschmackvoller Einrichtung und sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche. In die Schaltelektronik der Rollläden, Fußbodenheizung und vielseitigen Beleuchtung mussten wir uns erstmal einarbeiten, sie wurde aber schnell beherrscht. Für die Auseinandersetzung mit dem komfortablen Fernsehgerätes brauchten wir auch ein wenig Zeit. Bei der Bedienung des Miele Kaffeeautomaten mit Aufschäumer und sonstigen Extras und der bang and olufson Soundanlage scheiterten wir allerdings….und das trotz des mindestens einstündigen Einsatzes unseres mitfahrenden Elektroingenieurs. Es gab ja zum Glück eine zusätzliche Filterkaffeemaschine. Internet klappte in allen Bereichen der Wohnung bestens. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich über zwei Etagen, Erdgeschoss und Souterrain. Anschließend an den großzügigen offenen Wohn-Ess-Küchenbereich im Erdgeschoss befindet sich das Masterschlafzimmer mit sehr viel Schrankkapazitäten und einem wirklich sehenswerten komfortablen Bad. Das Bad (nach Westen) und das Schlafzimmer (nach Osten) haben jeweils Fenster mit Rollläden. Eine steile Treppe führt in den Souterrain und somit zur Sauna, Wirtschaftsraum, zweitem Schlafzimmer und Bad. Da unsere mitreisenden Freunde kein Interesse an der Sauna hatten, war die Verteilung der Zimmer schnell klar, ansonsten hilft nur Auslosen! Wir waren mit unserem Reich im Souterrain sehr zufrieden. Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt eine Auswahl an Kopfkissen und Zudecken! Die Dusche im unteren Bad ist auch auf Saunabesuche eingestellt. Schwallbrause, Wasserschlauch….es fehlt an nichts. Besonders gefallen hat mir das großzügiges Schrankangebot im Bad und in den Schlafzimmern. Die Sauna ist innerhalb einer halben Stunde startklar auf 90 Grad und bietet liegenden Platz für zwei Personen, ansonsten kommen auch locker vier Personen unter. An drei Tagen haben wir die Sauna richtig genossen! Im geräumigen Wirtschaftsraum sind Waschmaschine, Trockner und Bügelbrett untergebracht. (Sehr komfortabel!) Alle Souterrainzimmer haben Fenster in einen Schacht, der von einem Glasdeckel mit Lüftungsschlitz bedeckt ist. Sehr genossen haben wir den Garten mit gemütlicher Sitzecke und zwei Strandkörben. Das Haus befindet sich gegenüber des Gymnasiums Sylt, das aber anscheinend nicht mehr belebt ist. (Ist wohl in den großen Schulkomplex daneben umgezogen) Von der direkten Nachbarschaft des Schulcampus bekommt man nichts mit. Zum Strand (Aufgang Seenot) läuft man 10 Minuten, in das Zentrum von Westerland 20-30 Minuten. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass einer der Stühle am Esstisch im geflochtenen Sitzbereich durchgebrochen war. Da wir an einem Abend Gäste zum Essen empfingen, reklamierten wir und baten um einen Ersatzstuhl, was leider nicht klappte. Die Erkenntnis aus uns ##### Cornelia S. In unserer Wohnung ist eine gehobene Ausstattung, sei es in den Schlafzimmern, Badezimmern oder auch in der Küche, sowie überall Fußbodenheizung und die Sauna ist der Knaller, einfach super und gemütlich! Der Garten ist auch gepflegt und sehr schön zum verweilen. Zu Fuß benötigt man 10 Min. bis zur Innenstadt oder zum Lebensmittelladen. Können wir nur empfehlen! ##### Veronika ---
