“26 West” is our duplex (54 square metres “Sylt size”) in Westerland—quietly located and laid out exactly
the way you’d want it on Sylt: two bedrooms with
double beds, two bathrooms on two levels, a bright living area with an open
kitchen, and a west-facing balcony for the evening sun.
Space for four people, including a private parking spot.

Two bathrooms for four guests are unusual on Sylt in a property of this size
. For you, that means: no waiting in line in the morning.

1st floor:

The living area with an open kitchen and dining space for four people is the
heart of the apartment. From the sofa, you can look out onto the west-facing balcony—
the best spot for a coffee after a day at the beach or a glass of wine in the
evening, when the sand is still in your shoes. For rainy days, there’s
a TV.

Bedroom 1 is on the same level: a king-size double bed
(180 × 200 cm), a reading lamp, and a closet with storage compartments, a clothes rod, and hangers.
The bathroom with a shower is also on this level—a short walk after a day at the beach and
no stairs at night.

If you prefer a single-level layout, this is the perfect place for you: the kitchen, living area, balcony,
bedroom, and bathroom are all accessible within the apartment without any additional steps.

Bedroom 2 is located under the sloped ceiling, also featuring a
king-size double bed (180x200 cm) and its own TV. Wardrobe, storage compartments, a clothes rod, and hangers. The second bathroom with a bathtub is right next door. When the wind blows across the island outside, this is the best spot of the day. There’s also a long gable alcove upstairs with its own window. You can’t stand up in it, and it’s not a place to sleep—it’s simply part of the character of this attic apartment. The two levels are connected by a space-saving staircase with a handrail.

A bike rental shop is diagonally across the street. You don’t need a car on Sylt –
and if you bring one, you won’t have to look for a parking spot:
A private parking space is included with the apartment.

Living area: TV in the living room and in the upper bedroom, Wi-Fi
Bathrooms: Mirror and makeup mirror in both bathrooms, hair dryer, shower/bathtub

The rental price includes bed linens and towels: per person
1 duvet cover, 1 shower towel, 1 small hand towel, and 1 bath mat, plus
1 kitchen towel per stay. The beds are made upon your arrival.

ARRIVAL AND KEYS

Arrival is straightforward: The key is in a key safe
right next to the house. We’ll send you the code well in advance of your arrival.
This way, you’re not tied to a specific check-in time and can even
arrive late.

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM; check-out is by 10:00 AM.

SYLT MUNICIPALITY VISITOR’S TAX

The visitor’s tax is a statutory tax levied by the municipality of Sylt. It is charged per
person per night and is listed separately
at the time of booking:

May 1–Oct. 31: 4.10 EUR per person per night
Nov. 1–Apr. 30: 2.05 EUR per person per night

Children and teenagers under 18 are fully exempt. Please
provide us with the names and years of birth of all travelling companions after booking so that we can calculate the visitor’s tax accordingly and send it to you.

With the visitor’s tax, you’ll receive the Sylt municipal guest card: free
beach access throughout the island and discounts at numerous
partner businesses.
