Staff was excellent and attentive. There is no lift in the building so be prepared to take your luggage up and down stairs. The skylight in the room was a great addition for natural lighting. We were on the third floor and could not hear any noise from the pub on the ground floor. Overall an enjoyable experience and the bed was comfortable. The shutters don’t block out all the light and the windows are as old as the building so the street noise comes through BUT the neighborhood is quiet. Room a good size. Great hot water shower. Pub food and beer is good. Naturally we expected noise from the pub but the local environment was very noisy for quite a lot of the night with glass bins being emptied at 1am-4am and lots of car noise too. Not the fault of the staff but worth knowing if you are light sleeper.
