The amenities available were great, we didn’t even get around to using the downstairs entertainment area as we were all comfortable staying in the living room. But when you do you can walk down the road and you're in the national park and on the bush path to the 6 Foot Track or a small walk to the main centre where quirky cafes abound. This property manages to make you feel like you are in the bush, miles away from civilisation, whilst remaining conveniently close to Katoomba village. The views are just fantastic. The house itself is very spacious and it has all the comforts you could want. Highlights for us included having a morning cup of tea on the deck, overlooking the valley, and enjoying a glass of wine later in the day while watching the sunset. It was a luxury to have both upstairs and downstairs living areas (both with Netflix!). Large groups could easily spread out and enjoy themselves here, especially anyone who enjoys a game of pool. From Skycrest we visited the 3 sisters and Katoomba town centre, both of which were only 5 minutes' drive away. We also found a walking track and lookout near the property.
