The living area includes a sofa and smart TV, creating a relaxed space to unwind after a day out. From here, you have direct access to your own private garden, ideal for fresh air, quiet moments, or letting your pet stretch out safely. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking and longer stays, with an oven, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, utensils, and cutlery. The bedroom features a queen bed and connects to a private ensuite bathroom, offering a comfortable and practical layout. Secure off street parking is provided, adding convenience for guests travelling with a vehicle. With cafés, restaurants, parks, and walking routes close by, plus Double Bay Beach just a short drive away and the nearby golf club within walking distance, this apartment offers a relaxed stay in a sought after eastern suburbs location. Key Stay Information Bedroom 1: 1 x Queen Access & Keys: This property offers self-check-in. Access is provided via a secure lockbox located on-site. One set of keys is provided per booking and you are able to utilise the lockbox during your stay. If you require additional keys, please contact us at least 48 hours before arrival; otherwise, a call-out fee may apply. Listing Cancellation Policy: Reservations up to 27 nights: Cancellations made less than 21 days before check-in will forfeit 100% of the booking value. Any reservation made within 5 days of arrival requires a photo of a credit card in the same full name as the primary guest, matching the provided ID. If the names do not match, the booking will be cancelled and funds returned. This policy is in place to protect our guests, our property owners, and the community. Pre-Authorisation / Security Deposit: A security bond or pre-authorisation will be required to cover accidental damage, breakages, or extra cleaning costs. Guests will be notified of the amount and method of payment prior to arrival. Any claims for damages will be documented and communicated clearly. What was advertised as a comfortable short-term rental turned out to be filthy, unsafe, and completely mismanaged.The issues were endless:•Severe mould – black mould on the fridge seal, on window frames, and in the second bedroom from ongoing water damage. The smell was unbearable, and it was an extreme health hazard. The second bedroom was completely unusable.•Leaks and damage – the toilet leaked, water seeped into the hallway and bedroom, and attempts had clearly been made to paint over the damage rather than fix it.•Unhygienic facilities – the oven knob was broken and required a match to light, the microwave was rusted, and the Dyson vacuums were full of cobwebs, dirt, and hair from previous guests.•Bedding and linen – spare sheets were stained yellow, the fitted sheet had no elastic left, and there wasn’t a single blanket in the apartment despite it being the middle of winter.•False advertising – the listing showed amenities that were not actually available (e.g., dining table, barbecue), making the listing misleading.The photos I provided to management showed the disgusting state of this “holiday home” from mouldy fridge seals to filthy drains full of hair. Instead of resolving things urgently, the response was dismissive and slow.
