Very cosy. Entrance to house was complicated by pelting rain on our arrival so was a bit frustrating. It would have been good to know beforehand that the gate is electric and you need to get keys from key safe before trying to park. The layout of lounge and kitchen should be reversed as it was difficult to see the tv screen from the lounge. Backyard was full of weeds but the walks and town was absolutely beautiful. Although I twice requested a receipt, the manager returned my request with an autogenerated email but no receipt with the cost itemised and claimed it wasn’t his responsibility. Easy to get into the main street of Katoomba. Very close to Leaura which we ended up eating out at a few times. We were a bit caught out by the cool weather in January but the gas heater, fireplace and electric blankets on the beds kept up comfortable. ##### Erin D.
