Check in was really easy, the room was clean and the tea and coffee in the room made it very homey. I would definitely recommend staying here, it's so close to the beach!!

This was my ideal of something terrific for the price. Quite, clean, quaint, characterful and so close to the beach, bus stop and eateries. Very happy. Should just mention that it wouldn’t be good for those with mobility problems as there are lots of stairs.

We were delighted with Bondi Beach House. An amazing combination of proximity to Beach and Bondi restaurants, a gorgeous room in a quirky, quaint building and such lovely before, during and after service for a super reasonable price. All three of us have declared we will stay here again

Lovely room in paved courtyard surrounded with plants and trees Breakfast supplies were excellent. Quiet, even though only being 100 meters from Bondi's main thoroughfare. Very close to Bondi shops/restaurants, Bondi-Bronte walkway and Icebergs pool. Would love to stay again.

It’s a pretty little place in Bondi near to the bus stands and beach. We are very happy with our stay and liked the fact that we were provided some food to prepare our own breakfast. Overall, it’s a very nice place.

Close proximity to the beach, cafes, bars, and restaurants. However the room left a lot to be desired and was very dated. NO AC, one small fan and only one small window in the bathroom opened. The included breakfast was a plus and the patios were nice. For this price point would stay somewhere else with AC next time

Nice quiet stay for couples
Everything was clean! The staff were on-site and extremely helpful. I enjoyed the peace and quiet days And nights! Breakfast was better than expected! The room was normal sized, and we had easy access to the beach, bus, and grocery stores, which helped save $. The restaurants near were crazy, stupid expensive and mostly unhealthy beach food, so local stores was a must! The laundry area worked ok, but I’m not used of hang drying! I know, it saves the environment and $.

The beach house has loads of character and Charm, it’s peaceful and quiet yet close to everything you need and so close to the beach. It’s clean, comfortable , the kitchen and breakfast is just like being at home.

Such a charming Beach House!! Our room was clean & spacious. We particularly loved the ability to make our own breakfast in the communal kitchen which is clean & tidy with a great variety of breakfast options. Delighted to be able to sit outside in the garden for breakfast or any time of the day. Great location for beach or walking to Restaurants.

Good location. Secure parking good. Kitchen breakfast provisions good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Floors were cleaned regularly but flat services were very dirty. Our room was too small to be called a double for travellers with suitcases. Expensive for what you get compared to other stays on our trip. Someone set off the kitchen smoke alarm l discovered as I went to the bathroom one morning yet it was not loud enough to be reacted to in our room..?.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you found this room so disappointing. I will agree with you that this is one of the smallest rooms of the house, hence why it is the least expensive room we have for 2 people. The alarm you are speaking of was actually the oven timer being set off in the kitchen (which has happened before) by accident, as our actual smoke alarm is very loud and piercing and we received no notification that this had gone off during your stay. We are sorry that your experience was not satisfactory. Thank you again.

Thank you for your review, Yes as we are a guest house rooms are not serviced daily, but are upon request for guests staying longer than 4 nights. Our laundry facility is only operational at these times due to noise issues for guests located near the shared bathroom.

Great place to stay in Bondi
Bondi Beach House is Really arty and quirky. Each room is individual and the feel is like home. We are now on our third stay and would definately return to this amazing place. It is centrally located and a few seconds onto Bondi Beach. It is very clean and comfortable and spacious. This room (Wombat room 3) has a separate entrance and a small kitchen facility which is really useful for making a hot drink, fridge and microwave. The garden is really nice and we have sat outside with our breakfast I. The sun in August (winter here!). Would definately recommend. The staff have been great and really friendly. Breakfast is help yourself which for us is perfect.

Perfect beach house!
Truly is one of the hidden treasure of Bondi. It's a home away from home. I stayed in probably one of the smallest room - the Wattle Room but it was so cosy and comfortable! Single bed and although not much room to wiggle around, it was suitable for me who just wanted to have some quiet down time. I wasn't even bothered that I needed to share bathroom as the house is clean and well-kept. The decor is warm and rustic, not too mentioned generous helpings for breakfast. Thanks to Fenda as well for allowing me to bum out in the kitchen for a couple of hours after checking out before I needed to leave. Definitely staying again if I return to Bondi!

Nice Hotel
Friendly Guest House feeling. Making your own free breakfast was a great way to meet other guests and find out more about the area. Great location 2 mins walk to the centre of Bondi. If you are not into surfing or the beach 1-2 day visit is enough.

Laid-back stay
If you like a laid-back accommodation that feels like a home, you’ll like this place. The make-your-own breakfast has pleantiful options, thr bed was comfortable, the common areas are interesting, and the other travelers you’ll meet here are friendly. The only minus: the shower in the shared bathroom is not meant for tall people. We had to practically do the limbo to wash our hair.

Comfy room and friendly staff
Lovely experience staying at Bondi Beach House with friends. Our room was clean, well appointed and light. Staff were friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was great. 2 min walk to cafes and the beach. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent stay
Great location, community kitchen was a great plus! Very short walk to Bondi Beach. Spacious room was well appointed with beach motif. Did not like the shower setup (water splashed all over the bathroom floor with no shower curtain). Otherwise, loved it and would stay again.

Disappointing
I knew the property was a bit Bohemian. It's a hip, young beach community. I get that. It would have been nice, however, to know that there was no air conditioning. With temperatures reaching the 90s, that made for uncomfortable sleeping conditions. And the parking! What a nightmare. While the management warned of this in the confirmation e-mail, it was a little too late at that point to do anything about it. We were so displeased that we cut our losses, left a day early, and headed down the coast to a place in Wollongong that had air conditioning and a view of the ocean.

Fantastic stay!
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Couldn't have been in a better location for bondi beach local restaurants/bars etc. Loads of food available for breakfast. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going to the bondi beach area.

Wonderfully tranquil
Peaceful escape. Wonderful and tranquil especially given it's distance from the bustly bondi beach. Literally a couple of hundred steps away. Room is cosy, beach bohemia and inviting. Staff are incredibly welcoming. Outdoor eating area was highlight

Would Stay at Bondi Beach House Again
Loved the stay. We had the deluxe suite and it was pretty great. Good wifi, TV, shower was great, complimentary tea. What was the best was the breakfast. Loved how I was able to make my own eggs and help myself to cereal, yogurt, and toast. Only stayed for a night but would stay at Bondi Beach House again.
