The accommodation is a granny flat positioned behind the former main house. The former house has been demolished and, at present, there is no active construction taking place and no construction work is scheduled during your stay. The surrounding area may therefore look different from a traditional established backyard, but the granny flat itself is completely set up for guests and provides a private space for your stay.

Residential family suburb with a calm suburban vibe. Local conveniences include Quakers Hill Marketplace/Quakers Court shopping areas, playgrounds and reserves, primary and secondary schools (including Quakers Hill High School) and community sporting fields. The area is multicultural, with a mix of established homes and newer townhouses closer to the rail corridor.

Walkability is moderate within the local streets and to nearby parks and small shops. Quakers Hill railway station (Richmond line) provides regular Sydney Trains services toward Schofields/Blacktown, then on to Parramatta and the city via interchange. Busways-operated bus routes connect the station to surrounding suburbs and shopping centres. Driving is the most convenient option for many trips; major local roads connect to Richmond Road, Richmond and the M7/M2 motorway network for access toward Parramatta and the CBD. Taxis and rideshare services (Uber/DiDi) operate across the suburb. Commuter parking at the station fills at peak times, so public-transport users should plan accordingly.
