Welcome to Stay-at-79! We are a family team of three—Werner, Letitia, and Kyle Burger—and we’re delighted to host you in our special home in Swakopmund. Stay-at-79 isn’t just a property to us—it’s part of our story. After living here for 11 years, we renovated the house together to create a space that blends comfort, relaxation, and local charm. Our goal was simple: to give guests a home where they can unwind, connect, and enjoy everything Namibia has to offer—whether it’s fishing on the coast, exploring the dunes, or just relaxing around a braai with friends and family. Werner, with a background in business and property development, has a deep love for Namibia’s landscapes and coastal lifestyle. He enjoys camping, fishing, and being outdoors, and personally helped shape the layout and features of the home. Letitia, Werner’s wife, played a key role in the design and compliance of the home. With a strong eye for detail and a passion for making others feel at home, she ensured the house meets all NTB standards and truly caters to guests’ everyday needs. She’s an avid reader, traveler, and fishing companion. Kyle, our son, holds a BCom Law degree and contributed to both the renovation and administrative setup of the venue. Born and raised in Namibia, he’s passionate about nature, fitness, and fishing—whether in freshwater or at sea. As a team, we’re always here to help and happy to offer local tips or recommendations. We take great pride in hosting and hope you’ll love your stay just as much as we loved creating this home for you. Welcome to Namibia. Welcome to Stay-at-79.
