In the town Sv. Lovreč, which is only a few minutes away by car, you will find an ATM, a supermarket, a restaurant-pizzeria, cafe-bars and a children's playground. On enclosed property of 715 sqm, guests can use an open private swimming pool of 37 sqm next to a pretty covered pergola with a traditional built-in barbecue and a shaded loggia furnished with a dining table. Villa Casa Orah for 6-8 persons with an area of 168 sqm on two floors. On the ground floor there is an air-conditioned living room with fireplace and with view to the swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen with dining table and a shower/ toilet. The three cosy bedrooms are distributed over the upper floor. One spacious double bedroom has a private bathroom and exit to a covered balcony overlooking the magical surroundings. The location was lovely with good road access and safe off road parking and the restaurant in the village was superb. Unfortunately the Villa needs quite a bit of TLC. The lawn had not been recently mowed and was really unkempt, there were plastic pots full of water and heavily used wasp traps littering the garden. A hose pipe was left lying around the pool and there were weeds everywhere. Inside there was a lot of mould in the main bathroom and dust all over the window sills. The description stated that we would have bikes to use, there were 2 and one had a puncture so not usable. The worst however was the infestation of Scorpions. This is a rural property and although we appreciate the occasional bug and insect is unavoidable, the amount of scorpions was just too much. One even landed on my husbands face in the night. Mr Dennis was very apologetic and assures us he will get this fixed for next summer and even gave us a few bottle of wine to compensate. Although that didn't really fix the countless sleepless nights caused by them. Hopefully this will all be sorted by 2023\.
