Hot tub was amazing and well maintained but there were cracks in the walls in the guest house, and the shower head pointed to the wall, there was water spraying out of the hose to the shower head, and the pipes were extremely hot when you touched them, which is impossible to avoid in the small shower, juggling the shower head and bathing and shaving, as I was. However, the small kitchen, community kitchen, and other amenities were fabulous. The room was spacious for a guest house and that part of the guest house was clean and comfortable

Breakfast is excellent. Bathroom Shower curtain are dirty.. We got the smelly room because of the bathroom. The staff refused to change our room and did not clean enough to get the smell go away. We asked for 2 room and they provided in different floor.

I really love this hotel. Friendly staff. Easy drive to waterfalls, golden circle and reykjavik. Friendly dogs! Large rooms! Will definitely stay here again on our next icelandic vacation.

Repurposed farm with multiple options for your stay, including onsite dining. We booked a larger quad room with private bath for our group of 3. The hot tubs were a perfect way to relax after a day of travelling

Nice farm stay short distance from Selfoss. Staff were wonderful. Wished we had a fridge in our room! The common eating area was great. Didn’t mind shared bathrooms. Were clean the entire time we were there.

Veronica at the front desk was very helpful. There was an issue with the room due to heat and they immediately rectified it. Amazing water pressure in the shower. It was as strong as a power washer (in a good way). Dogs were a nice touch.

Some repairs are needed such as doors difficult to shut and bed frame squeaky though otherwise beautiful peaceful place, cute friendly staff including the fluffy dogs, had a nice stroll down a horse path which was lovely, the shower was nice and hot and the kitchen and fridge were nice. The hot pool area is clean and pleasant. I hear they continue to remodel a few rooms at a time so I expect this will only keep improving.

Nice place with 2 hot tubs - Bonus!!

Very first time in a hostel type hotel. I booked a room with a 'small bathroom' heads up - that means there's a tiny sink in the room, you still share a shower/bathroom down the hall. Small kitchen to use and 2 bathrooms on the main floor. We got there and used the hot tubs had wine right away after a long day. Bring your own food so we snacked, showered before other guests arrived and made it an early night. It can get a bit noisy with other guests arriving, some making dinner etc. over all we planned it well. Breakfast option to purchase - there is common room to eat in and it was very comfortable, we had brought food a toaster was provided, games and TV in the common room.

There's no breakfast during the off-seasons, and no toiletries except hand soap and toilet paper, so make sure to bring your own. There's a microwave and they offer to store things in the fridge if needed, but overall a bit inconvenient. Everything else was good though, and the staff and dogs were friendly.
