Top Surrey County Hotel Reviews

Sea Cliff Resort
2/10 Terrible
"This is a bed and breakfast not a resort. The property is not maintained as advertised. Our room seem to have had no upkeep for a long time as windows doors and locks had rusted, The curtains were stuck to the iron rods from rust. There was no pressure in the pipes so we could not take a proper shower. Also the shower was moldy and filled with mosquitos. The wear on the floors , stripping of the paint does not present a clean look. No amenities. Grounds and pool not maintained. Poor standards. Very uncomfortable and disappointing stay."

Jamaica Colors Eco-Retreat Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"The owner Dr Gregg and staff were excellent they above and beyond to help us have a great. This was one of our greatest vacation do far. We had an amazing time. We will be back. The ocean views from the pools were one of a kind very beautiful."

Scarlett By The Sea
10/10 Excellent
"The owners were so kind and helpful. This is THE hidden treasure of Kingston. Bob Marley beach is walking distance and the rooftop patio was breathtaking. The AC in the rooms was perfect to cool off after a hot day. This hotel also has a bar and the pool is cute and deep enough for the kids to jump in. The rooms are very traditional Jamaican style/decor and VERY clean. The wifi was strong and overall this was a fabulous likkle spot. Mi soon come back"

RafJam Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"RafJam B&B nestled in the lush green mountains of Jamaica. You WILL need a driver who knows how to get there. I will always remember our time here. If you want to feel Jamaica say here. The chirping of the birds, sound of the wind and the river that runs through the property are priceless. Susan is a gem of a host. 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

Polish Princess Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Centrally located for easy taxi rides to everywhere and all attractions. BREAKFAST is fantastic. Barbara helps with everything...she is an excellent operator."

Jay's Guest House
10/10 Excellent
"Everyone is so welcoming here . Jay was above and beyond providing great communication with all the information needed to prepare for the stay, and his mom Angela is very warm and kind and cooks amazing meals, I loved all the fresh whole foods and juices . The location is a perfect base for doing the Blue Mountain peak hike. There is also a river that you can hike to and swim in. They also grow and sell their own coffee! The guesthouse is only reachable by 4wd, if you don’t have that they can arrange a ride/ pick you up . I was able to take my rental sedan as close as Hagley gap but coming from Portland there were parts of the mountain roads that were pretty sketchy, having to ford a river and go up a pretty steep hill. It might not be passable if it’s been raining. Also Google Maps directions had some errors. Driving to/from Kingston the roads are much better."

Forres Park Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"The staff was very friendly and engaging. The room was cleaned. Dinner and Breakfast was good. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet place to get away and relax...this is the place. Bring your games, and your crew and chill😊."

Strawberry Hill
10/10 Excellent
"I have nothing but good things to say about this place— first, my room was spotless. Second, the staff was amazing Miss Jasett, Miss Bernice, Miss Marva… and I am sure I am missing a few but they treated me like family. The staff that helped with my bags, came to turn down my bed or simply gave me extra water… loved them all! The driver that took me to the airport - Lancelot, he is so funny- we had the best ride down the mountain. And of course, the views… who doesn’t know about the views?! Stunning! But the staff are the hidden gems. I will be back."

Starlight Chalet
8/10 Good
"Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. There is no AC, but the temperature at 3500' was much cooler than in the adjacent lowlands so AC was not essential. We went on several birding excursions and found lots of good birds. If you go, Ricardo Miller is an excellent and knowledgeable local guide."
