With plenty of free parking and the convenience of Hwy 17 access, you will be able to enjoy a night on the town, soaking up all Surfside Beach has to offer. Broadway at the Beach and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk are only 15 minutes north and the "Seafood Capital of SC", Murrells Inlet is 15 minutes south. The Space: \*\*\*Please note that because this is a privately owned residence, the Grand Palms Resort amenities (like the pools and activity center) are not available to guests\*\*\* This spacious and comfortable condo is located in Surfside Beach just 1.5 miles to the closest beach access. Included is a full eat-in kitchen with dining for 7 and comfortable living room to relax and enjoy family time. Downstairs primary suite has an en suite bathroom and walk in closet. There is also a 2nd hall bedroom with 2 queen beds downstairs with a bath across the hall from it. The 2nd floor loft suite has two double beds, a private bath and spacious walk in closet. Located inside Deerfield Plantation, this spacious villa is quietly tucked away but right in the middle of Surfside Beach, "The Family Beach" and close to excellent restaurants and fun beach activities. You will love the space that this property has and how spotlessly clean it is! Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire apartment. Entry is by keypad lock and the code will be provided 48 hours prior to check in. The Neighborhood: Located between Business Hwy 17 and Hwy 17 Bypass, Grand Palms at Deerfield is right in the middle of Surfside Beach with easy access to restaurants, shopping and tons of amenities. There are 3 grocery stores, Target and Walmart within 3 miles or 10 minutes drive. Some of our favorite restaurants like the Wooden Spoon (brunch spot), Surfside Pizza (downtown Surfside), The Bar-B-Q House and Johnny D's Waffles (breakfast and brunch) are right around the corner. There are additional restaurants and great shopping destinations in the Market Common where you can stroll the night away with the whole family. Getting Around: A rental car is recommended. Uber is available but can be limited at times. Uber will get you to the property for between $25-$30. Other Things to Note: For your stay, we provide linens, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. The kitchen is equipped with essential supplies like a roll of paper towels, hand soaps, and 2 dishwasher and 2 laundry pods and the bathrooms are stocked with two rolls of toiler paper each. which are all included in the "cleaning fee". Don't forget to bring your own beach and pool towels. It had all the comforts of home and the set up of the condo we all still had our privacy. The beach is not far away. I had family at ocean lakes and our place was soo much better than one of the houses that rented for 5k a week. The only con is that the community is half owned and half rented rooms like a hotel. So you dont have access to the pool area. If you have small kids and it is important you may find a place with a community pool. It was not important to my group as a whole this trip. Enough space for all to gather and bedrooms were nice. One concern was that the shower curtains seemed to be either dirty or badly stained. Other than that, no complaints. Unfortunately, the last morning, trying to wrangle everyone in was quite a chore, so we ended up checking out late, but the property manager was very nice about it. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for gold faucets, vintage figurines or Spode Bone China, don't come here. BUT, if you are looking for a clean, up to date home with all the "down home" fixins, this is the place. Bring a few books to sit on the deck and read. It's very tranquil. Just a 1/2 mile away or so is all the activity. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, gas stations AND the ocean. I hope you get the idea we love this place and I don't like to broadcast this because I'm afraid I will not get a spot when I want return. OH BY THE WAY, did I mention this was our 3rd time staying here!!! Reviewer Comments: Exceptional vacation at this resort, however I have two areas that could have used improvement. First, I did not feel like the bedspreads had been cleaned in awhile. Second, was only able to get on one shuttle, due to the tiny nature of shuttle bus. Each bus only held 14 people, which was inexcusable during summer peak season. Any other time we went to the beach we had to drive. Other than that it was a great experience.
