5 Bedroom & 5 Bath Beachfront House w/ Private Pool, Hot Tub & Beach Boardwalk!

  • Family Matters is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath, oceanfront beach house. With 2 king master bedrooms, 6 queen beds, 1 twin bed & a queen sofa sleeper. It is great for family & friend gatherings. Many families that visit include several generations and many of our guests return every year! It is very well maintained & located in a family friendly area.

    A fishing Pier is a short walk north & there are several restaurants within walking distance in Surfside Beach.

    There is a private pool, hit tub, & a boardwalk to the beach. The porch is a wonderful gathering place & has a beautiful ocean view. Beautiful ocean views from the 2 master King bedroom suites. Lots of fun things to do are close by including a large flea market, restaurants, shopping, water slides, kayaking, surfing, beach combing, & more.

    Enjoy beautiful sunrises, jogs or walks on the beach & so many others fun activities.

This was an amazing vacation! The house had plenty of room for our big family with small kids. “Family Matters” was located right on the beach with amazing views of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub! But, it wasn’t just the home and location, it was also all the thoughtful accommodations. Beach towels, beach toys and chairs, games, books! (And I am a reader!), tv’s in every bedroom, cooking pans and utensils. Thank you Eric for such a wonderful stay at Family Matters. We would love to come back and visit!

Has everything you need for a fun family vacation. No need to bring beach chairs, towels or kids toys. Pool was great. The kids had a great time. Beach access was great.

Paradise!

Family Matters is a cozy and beautiful home with all the amenities you need on a vacation with a large group. The balcony provides a gorgeous view of the beach and it is a quick walk across the private access bridge to the sand. The pool and hot tub offer a great way to relax when the sand gets too hot. A beautiful trip to paradise!

Awesome time!

My family gathered together for a celebration of life for my Aunt who passed away the year before. We had a wonderful time and the house had all the amenities that we wanted. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable experience.

Small Beach Wedding

The house was amazing. The pool and hit tub made for some great wedding pictures. We loved the house. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was great! The patio and short walk to the beach was perfect. We will definitely come back next year

Houses are very close together, for privacy reasons I would recommend a curtain or shade of some sort for sides on porch over looking ocean to provide more privacy. House was excellent for our needs, very clean and plenty of room,we had 10 people

Spring Break Relaxation

This place was amazing. We had 16 people. Perfect location for all of us. We rented a golf cart, but its easily walkable to the Pier and the restaurants. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and made for a wonderful week! Highly recommend this place and the owner is extremely responsive and helpful! Love that this area is not super crowded during spring break.

The house was clean , the kitchen was well stocked, lots of dishes, etc, but does need a shrimp boil deep pot. Beds were clean, but no extra blankets in closet and mattress cover and fitted sheets came off the mattress every night. Perhaps deeper sheets would help.Eric was very accessible by text, and gave answers quickly.Our family had a lovely stay and enjoyed it very much!

Great family beach trip

We had a great family beach trip! The layout and size of the house worked well for our family of 14 with plenty of space to spread out when needed but also allowed us to hang out together and eat together without being crowded. The bunk bed space worked great for the kids! It is a great location, right on the beach and close to places to eat. The beach itself was very clean with lots of soft sand, quiet, and wasn’t overly crowded. We also enjoyed using the pool almost every day. There were fun pool floats and some beach toys available for the kids to use as well. We didn’t use the hot tub during our trip but it was a nice option to have. The air conditioning was very effective at keeping the house cool! Eric was a very responsive host and quick to remedy any issues that arose. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay here again next year!

Our group of twelve really enjoyed this house - inside and out. The back porch was a perfect place to watch the surf, ocean and the one brief storm we had on our visit. The hosts were always accessible to us, before and during our visit . It was a surprise to see all the golf carts along the street, along with cars going up and down the street from time to time. The MANY play items for the pool and sand delighted our children. We spent most of our time outside. The kitchen was well equipped (maybe bring a large pot or two if you're planning to cook for a large crowd.) Having so many bathrooms for lots of guests. What a great place to spend a week!

Great Extended Family Vacation Spot
