Generally its a family friendly hotel, and the surrounding was peacefull and cooling. However, beware of ants as my friends' helmet was infested with ants when he left it on the sofa over night. Our room was functional, no frills ! The bed was very comfortable, the sheets super soft and the shower was good. The air con wasn't terribly good during the day but there was a good fan and at night air con worked really well. Noi runs the travel and excursions part of the hotel. She did a good job but for our trip to Krabi she told us it would take 2.5 hours and it took nearly 4.5 because she'd put us in with a guy who made many stops. It just really irritated me that she wasn't honest as we may have taken a private taxi instead! All in all I think a little over priced for what it is. Khao Sok parrk was amazing. Restaurant was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was hard and the shower had low pressure but considering the reasonable price it was fine.
