"great place to stay"

"The hotel is a beautiful, well-preserved colonial building. Although the rooms don't have private bathrooms, they are well-equipped and the shared facilities are very clean. There is no AC, but the heater and electric blankets work perfectly. All the staff were very polite and helpful.. we even had a lovely "little princess" take our keys when we checked out. The restaurant food was simply wonderful, the best we had during our entire trip."

"We had a great stay at the cabin! When we walked in, it felt like home - it was also incredibly clean and well-maintained. After a big day of hiking, it was a joy to come back to! Electric blankets on the bed and a heat pump - lovely and warm on a cold night. "

"It’s was so noisy, I had to use my headphones to sleep. I couldnt possibly stay there again."

"On arrival we requested a river view room and were upgraded to one. It was spacious and provided microwave, crockery and cutlery as well as fridge, table and chairs so we could self cater breakfast. View was really interesting watching boats and ferries coming and going. Bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower ."

"The apartment is so spacious and literally the first accom from many to have loads of shelving for luggage, bathroom items etc. The location is fantastic with the most spectacular views. We are bird lovers and sitting on the deck undercover provided a great vantage point. We look forward to returning in the future."

"Room was excellent. The only issue was that we didn’t receive a message with our lockbox combination to get in the room. We went to the cafe down the road and they were able to get it for us. So no harm done, but if the cafe was closed we might have been in trouble. I’m sure this is a one of though, so please don’t let it deter you from a fantastic stay!"

"Novel and unique stay but wouldn’t stay again or recommend due to price and returns of experience. Mountain views also include view of driveways and other people from neighbouring campsite who can see into your bubble. See-through fence around outdoor bathtub. Included breakfast is cereal, toast and instant coffee. Can pay additional for hot meal (pre-made curry and microwave rice), which cost $20+ so we chose to drive to nearby town for dinner instead. Cosy room and bed with fireplace, modern bathroom, clean. Self check in and out. Easy to find. Owner was responsive via phone. Cute wooden communal lodge designed for group gatherings."
