Bed and bath full of carpenter ants

Hotel under construction. Had to switch rooms because of ant infestation; second room had broken shower and a/c. Stuck on top floor with dark scary hallway

Miserable experience.

Toilet stopped up. Bed uncomfortable. Hallway under construction. Refrigerator non functioning and bad odor. No water pressure. Privacy limited so that everything next door was heard.

Pleasantly surprised

For a low budget hotel, we were pleasantly surprised during our stay at this place. The room was large and airy and had a friendly vibe. Breakfast very basic and not very satisfying but this aside I would recommend this place as good value for money, especially if it's a brief stop over.

Badly needs remodel in Silverthorne.

This hotel has seen better days. Needs a remodel. Staff was rude and didn't care. Cleanliness of room was ok. Pretty much it's just in disrepair.

Room only had one large towel The trash had not been emptied , had the Denver Post from the 30th.

Sink wouldn't drain, toilet wouldn't flush. If you turned on the air conditioner it blew the breaker so the room was very hot and uncomfortable. The pool area was hot more like a sauna then a fun swim place so we did not enjoy the pool. We opened the window because it was so hot and all you could hear was a large fan running, there were broken air conditioners on the lower roof so not much of a view.

Disappointed

Pros: Kids did enjoy the pool.
Cons: Breakfast, customer service, and the overall hotel (which they are working on).
Location: Close to several restaurants, outlet mall, and Keystone.
Have stayed here before and it was ok so we tried it again on our annual Colorado Road Trip. Very disappointed this time from the very first impression. Front desk employee was not happy to be there. Then after 4 room key cards that didn't work, and several trips back and forth to the front desk with my tired family waiting, he finally decided to put me in another room. Entire hotel (including room) was in the middle of remodeling, so it has the potential to be nice but it sure wasn't when we were there. To make matters worse, we were all woke up in the middle of the night by police and fire pounding & yelling on the door across the hall. We were honestly scared for our safety, but were told by the front desk that it was a "medical emergency". Watched them pry and pound open the door and haul the person out of the room on a backboard. I was going to talk to the front desk about my whole experience when I checked out, but after waiting 5 minutes with no one around I just left. Too bad for them, instead of telling just a Manager I get to write it here so everyone can read about it. If you're in the area I'd recommend trying someplace else.
