"Lovely hotel with brilliant staff and great food. One staff member (forgot to get your name sorry) even helped me with trying to get another hotel for the following night after my ferry was cancelled since they had no availability. Would recommend and stay again."

"It was a reasonably nice lodge on a beautiful loch. The rooms were nothing special, but were clean. Breakfast was good, and dinner was pretty good as well the one time we ate there. It wasn't really what I expected based on their web site, so don't expect an elegant stay. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place in the country however, this does nicely."

"The Skye Inn was a guesthouse at hotel prices. The restaurant was closed the breakfast while good was slow and the staff in their own words were “distracted” Basically it seemed that the student aged staff were operating the Skye Inn without adult management. Perhaps as the season was just starting they were all new on their jobs but the place missed having an experienced adult in charge"

"We hardly had a wink of sleep in the tiny first floor room we were allocated at this pub (I hesitate to call it an hotel) because of the noise from the lively bar below. Even when the pub emptied some time after midnight the disturbance continued as staff quarters were situated directly above us and, once they left the bar, loudly creaking floorboards continued to keep us awake until much later. But when we went down for Sunday morning breakfast at 9.15 we were told it had finished at 9a.m. and, though we had been told on check-in it would be served until 10, the staff were unrelenting. Later I spoke to the manager who promised a refund for their error, but none has been forthcoming. The whole two-night experience was poor, we could not wait to leave!"

"This place and the host were great. The views and location were excellent. We felt secluded and yet not too far from town and options for food etc.It was so nice to come back to the cabin after spending the days exploring, my wife and I would lay on the couch and bench outside while watching hikers climb the hills in the distance. We had as much fun reading and having a few drinks in the beautiful cabin as we did out and about during the day.We would definitely stay here again."
