It was very quiet, being off the main street behind a local market and close to the Buddhist temples that boomed out their music beautifully around 6pm as sun went down. The hotel was a little tired, with old, leaky air con units which struggled to lower the temperature to 20 degrees. The beds were the usual hard if the region. Staff were very helpful, even if their English was limited.
