During these shoulder seasons, you'll find the temperatures are mild and agreeable, superb for exploring the region's vineyards, historic towns, and natural landscapes without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The countryside is particularly beautiful, with blooming flowers in spring and rich autumnal colours as the leaves change. This period offers a good balance of comfortable conditions for outdoor activities and touring, often with better availability and rates for accommodation.
