"For two the room was a good size, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely, a good selection of pastries, meats, cheese and cereals. The coffee was decent too. Disappointed on our last morning we were told breakfast opens at 06:15, we waiting to 06:30 and still not open and unfortunately we had to leave for our flight. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"

"Brilliant location and wonderful house. Welcome was bordering on rude, however, and booked room was "not available because of an error". Staff was not very solution-oriented. The only exception was the very smiling lady who attended the breakfast room."

"The meeting that I was schedule to attend in Neuchatel was cancelled a full six months before it was to take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When I attempted to communicate with the hotel both through Orbitz and directly to see if I could get a refund, partial, refund, or postpone my reservation until next year, my queries were met with silence. Clearly not a guest-customer oriented establishment. The kept the deposit and didn't say a word. Very poor customer relations."

"We stayed in the Rhubarb room and lived the complete kitchen with a huge wet bar! Also having a coffee table and comfortable chairs/sofa was nice. Plenty of beds (5) for most families. The check in process was slightly confusing. Read the email carefully. The entry door was tough to find but it is right by the Restaurant du Banneret. The location was perfect, right by the Chateau. "This is a good hotel. The pool is closed and looks to have been closed for years. The beds clean and comfortable. A smart tv ao we srreemed some shows. Its a 15 min drive to most everything. There is no air conditioner. "
