680 Steps to Lake- Sleeps 16- Ultimate GameRoom-15 min NRG
10/10 Excellent
"This house was great for our family. We had 3 families consisting of us two grandparents, our 6 adult children (including spouses), and our 7 grandchildren. This house had many spaces to separate off to including a large, wonderful, hot tub, which was covered and very private , but no view. The game room was fantastic and the kids spent much time in there, just know that the larger of the two bedrooms is above the game room. We were able to play billiards, ping pong, and shuffleboard quietly after kids were bedded down for the night. We did not use the fire pit as the weather was too hot and rainy, but we did sit out there at night to talk. The kitchen/dinning table is beautiful and seats 10, sending the the others into the living room or game room to eat. There is a table and four chairs in a back porch room and a larger table outside under a roof that seats 6, again, together it seats 10 outside. The four bathrooms are all nice and great water pressure! We found that the laundry room in the back of the largest bedroom is very secluded from the rest of the house and a playpen in there keeps baby from waking to house noise!! Kids also enjoyed the balcony play area with it's state of the art foosball and many board games. The driveway is a steep climb, but parks 3 vehicles nicely at the top. A trailer would be a problem. All in all, we would do it again in a heart beat! Hosts are great and respond quickly."
Newly Remodeled, Close to the lake, hot tub, and game room
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice place. Clean and like new. Close to everything. I would recommend staying here."
Super 8 by Wyndham Summersville/New River National Park
8/10 Good
"This place has renovated bathrooms, nice clean rooms, the laminate flooring is new, clean, and the furniture is modern. However, the bathroom floor, inside door and wall were dusty. The plush blanket was soft, but had cigarette holes in it. The building does not have elevator, just stairs but are accessible. I specifically liked the fact that the bathroom sink and tub look so good new. The room is cleaner due to the laminate flooring and the outside building is newly painted. I would really come back to this place for a one night stop."
