"We had such a great stay. So quiet and secluded in nature! We saw deer and many other wildlife on the property. Tons of songbirds and butterflies everywhere. Chipmunks! Only a 2 minute drive to the cute little town Marlinton which had anything we needed including some good little coffee shops and pubs. We even stopped eating out the last few meals so we could cook in the cabin and enjoy some meals in it. The cabin we had was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. The hosts are very accommodating and had the cabin ready and spotless for us! Thank you Caley!!"

"We were very pleased with the accommodations. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The only drawback was the water- very Sulphur smell but an excellent water dispenser was supplied so we had no problems. We checked in after the cafe closed so we couldn’t get ice, but we were just there overnight so it didn’t really matter. Would go back in a heartbeat."

"This place was amazing. I loved the porch and being able to hear the waterfall. Looking out the big window/slider at the mountains was great. I think it would be better if they did fix the door so it would open though. We only slept in the bottom queen. It was very comfortable. Our Havanese dog Darby enjoyed the cabin too. We placed his bed in front of the fireplace and he took all his snoozes there. We enjoyed the cass scenic railroad (34 min away), New river gorge bridge walk (2 hours away), blackwater falls (2 hours away), and some of the other hiking was 45-60 minutes away. We went in July so it wasn’t very busy which was great given the off season of skiing and snowboarding. Kitchen was stocked nicely. There was a coffee maker and a keurig k cup machine. The place was clean and bathrooms nice. I’m not sure cars would make it very well up the driveway but our RAV4 did wonderful. We were very happy and wish we would have gotten to use the hot tub but with the rain, didn’t want to off balance chemicals; or get our heads rained on. I bet this place is gorgeous in the fall."

"Beautiful property! Great location just a few blocks from downtown Marlinton and the Greenbrier River Trail. The house was very clean and well-equipped. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a vacation rental in Pocahontas County."
