This 300 year old building was absolutely lovely. There is a great view of the city on the rooftop. Lots of great seating areas on the property. The rooms were very big, we were four and had plenty of space. Would highly recommend staying here.

Thank you we are vrery grateful for your visit, all the best for you!
After a long bus ride, arriving at Hotel Su Merced was everything I needed. The staff is super attentive, kind and always looking out for you. We checked out at 11am and left our bags at the hotel until 5pm no questions asked. The hotel did our laundry for a great price and the clothes were ready the same day! I'd definitely stay here again!

Dear Jorge you are most kind, we are so grateful for your visit. All the Best for you.
The hotel was absolutely perfect!!!!!! The location couldn’t have been better & more suitably located. The place looked amazing! The courtyard, outdoor space & roof Terrance just so calm, serene & pretty. The continental breakfast was ample & housed in a beautiful old banqueting hall & my room was just truly immense! The staff kindly gave me a truly stunning suite in the top floor with a super comfy bed, bath & views across the city to die for!! I really can’t recommend the hotel more highly which was priced very reasonably for what you get and Raoul, the hotel manager just sooo unbelievably friendly & helpful! This hotel IS the perfect and only place I would want to stay at again.

Dear Chris It was an amazing experience to receive your visit, we are so pleased to know you loved our Suit juniors. Can't wait to welcome you once more. Thank you so much and have a great journey home.
Very nice people at the reception, they speak English,
Nice hotel in a quiet zone but not far away from the main square, only two blocks. Nice big room, only what I do not like personaly is the old furniture but some people like it. I always like everything new.

Thank you for your kind review, we are happy you enjoyed our colonial hotel, which is an ancient house with historical features, we do our best to combine it with the modern facilities and services that you deserve. We hope to receive you any time soon.
Front desk staff not overly friendly, avoided eye contact 80% of the time we re-entered the hotel, decor was super dated and looked like it needed a good overdue clean! Double bed was a single size and rigid, 2 singles if you’re a couple is highly recommended. Breakfast was poor and full of desserts, and the noise from the adjacent school started from 8am

Thank you for your feedback, we will surely work on the issues at hand, regarding the details you mentioned about the school and its rehearsal for the national parade, we have been pleaing the local education ministry to control the noise pollution but little attention was paid to us.

Dear sir, we are very interested in knowing about your experience in the hotel. Please, feel free to contact us and share your ideas with us. We will be glaf to know what aspect of the service can be improved. Best regards.
The breakfast was great. Plenty of fruit, bread, rolls, cheese, meat etc, and eggs of your choice. The rooms were comfy, spacious and light but with one exception - don’t take the room next to the garage (dark and awkwardly shaped), ask for a room on the terrace - the view over the city is great.

Excellent accommodations and excellent staff!! Every single receptionist, kitchen staff, housekeeping and every staff were superb. Unfortunately the only names I remember were Cider, Geisha and Siria but everyone was superb. Only planned on staying for 1 night but ended up staying for 5 nights. One of my favorite accommodations in the 44 countries I've visited!

All in all I enjoyed staying at the Hotel de su Merced and recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property and furnishings are a little old, but that is part of the hotel's charm. The breakfast was great. They clearly put a great deal of effort into it. I had no complaints and would stay there again. Very good value for money.

This place was a joke. Didn't have our booking and blamed us (through translate as they speak no English). Gave us the wrong room as had overbooked. Room is noisy and smoke from smokers drifts in Windows that don't shut. They tried to say they gave us a double bed as advertised, it was only a single. Breakfast was fine and place was clean enough.

Dear Sir,
We are sorry about your impressions, however that day we explained to you that emails were not received due to problems of internet in our neighbourhood due to weather conditions, you said "that is not my problem", in any case we didnt let you go, and try to respect the voucher you showed us in your phone, as a compensation we gave you a room within the policy of the voucher services described. If you didn't like the room we would have gladly showed another one. We belive things can improve if communication with the guest is fluent, in that moment, when something can be done, not later. The previous reviews show we are always willing to help and assist our guests. The double bed described in the voucher is the size we have in the hotel. We hope to have the opportunity the show you we can offer you a nice stay.
Best regards
Large bedroom, excellent location and super (english speaking) staff.
Oh and the breakfast was amazing: fresh fruits, fresh juices but also 5 or 6 baked savory and sweet cakes and every single day: lemon pie, quiche etc... never seen this in Bolivia before!
The hotel was so great we extended for one more night, we stayed 4 nights total

The hotel is well presented and in a great location with rooftop views. The staff were really helpful and always contacted an English speaker to help. Only fault is I got food poisoning from the breakfast buffet on my second morning.

Room is located just beside the street so quite noisy during the day.

I love this hotel and town. Its located in the old colonial section of town. It is an old colonial house with a courtyard that has been turned into a hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shower is wonderful with lots of hotwater. The breakfast is very good. The best breakfast provided by a hotel since I have been in Perú and Bolivia.

Dear Elizabeth
Thank you for your review. Be welcome anytime you arrive at Sucre.
At your service
It is one thing to visit a colonial style city, another, to live in it. Three days in the hotel gave us the sense of living in old Sucre. We felt especially lucky to have a room of antiques and an enclosed balcony extending over the street where we could sit and watch life go by while it rained. The rooftop terraces offered splendid views comparable to the tourist sites. The hotel is close to the main square and within walking distance of almost everything one might want to see. The staff was quite helpful. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, with many things that surprised us because they seemed more like desserts. The dinner service was just okay. We were the only people who ate there that night, and the hotel was full. We preferred eating at restaurants, where we could experience the life of the city.

Rooms are nice. You are very close to the plaza and they help you out. Our wifi was fine but we were in number 3 near the court. Your basic Bolivian hotel. Quiet location the breakfast has a lot of cakes and quiche. Get there early if you want the crumbled eggs with ham.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Excellent service. Room needs some improvements
Great service. I wish they could
Provide us with an iron machine so that we don't have to wait and pay for them ti do it. There are three sets of different pillows in the room. The chair in the room is uncomfortable. The bed makes noise. Room is very quiet overall and and no noise at night
Great location. 5 minutes walking to main square and a lots of museums around. Yovana at the front desk was so sweet and helping. She speaks fluent English and helped me booking the restaurant and taxi service.
