Rent this tastefully decorated, sun drenched one bedroom urban apartment 40 minutes away from Manhattan. One parking spot on site. Located near light rail train in the bustling Bergen-Lafayette section of Jersey City, this unit features a plush queen bed, an extra air mattress, 49" LED TV, WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, walk-in shower, and in-unit laundry. Street parking usually available. You will be steps away from parks and trendy restaurants.  
  
Monthly renters welcome.  
  
This apartment has been updated to feature a mix of modern design and old-world brick townhouse charm. Everything you need is provided - fresh towels, tissue paper, soaps/shampoo/bodywash, cooking utensils and new appliances. Ground coffee and coffee maker in the kitchen will power your mornings and prepare you for a full day of NYC sightseeing.  
  
Enjoy a small gated backyard area in the back of the property. We have great restaurants, cafes and nearby gems in the ever changing Bergen-Lafayette. Enjoy vintage coffee at the Grind Shop or treat yourself to fresh seafood at Hooked JC, both located on Communipaw Ave. Make sure to visit the many restaurants on Grove Street in Downtown Jersey City (right by Grove St PATH Station). If you are a fan of Mexican food, you have to come to Taqueria Downtown - a local favorite for authentic Mexican cuisine and a 7 minute drive from the apartment.

Bergen-Lafayette is an urban neighborhood offering a diverse mix of residents, sights, and activities. This is a decent neighborhood and is generally safe. Please remember you are in Jersey City, not all of its streets are lined with charming brownstones and upscale restaurants. Some blocks, like ours, will give you extra entertainment in the form of the occasional loud boombox or kids playing lively games of hide and seek on the street.  
  
Uber is very popular in Jersey City, and a ride between the apartment and the PATH station at Exchange Place in Downtown won't cost more than $10\. They will take a group of 4 people, which means your cost per-person will be lower than the $2.5 light rail ticket. If you haven't used Uber before, let me know and I will send you an invite which comes with $20 discount on your first rides.
