"Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for! Nice, peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. Camper was exactly as described and our pup loved it and the space to run. "This place was beautiful! It was just what we needed. It gave our family a chance to connect with nature but still have the luxury of an actual bed and shower. The place was perfectly spaced out and the amenities provided were great. Our kids loved the s'mores kit. We stayed here for close proximity to Banning State Park but on the way to our cabin we saw a mama doe waiting for her baby, which will be quite memorable for the whole family. We will be back!"

"Place looks pretty rough from the outside, but the room was clean and felt fresh and inviting inside. View of the lake is minimal - it's pretty far away and across the highway, but still nice. The girl who checked me in was cute, friendly and helpful. There are NO amenities, lol. "

"Came in with our family of 8, ages 9-22. The availability of kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, hottub and sauna kept everyone busy. Cooked all of our meals, as the kitchen is nicely stocked. The cleanliness of the house and property were top line! We pulled our own boat up, and although the water by the dock is shallow, we had no issues keeping it docked for the week. Caught a nice amount of fish...crappie and bass were keepers. 17" bass was our largest catch. Daily drives into Duluth to see all the sites made the trip busy, but well worth the time!"

"Everything was clean and orderly. The room was smaller than a hotel room. More like a bedroom. The bed was very soft which for me was very uncomfortable. I had trouble turning on the television. After doing some troubleshooting I called the front desk and got voicemail. It said the pool and hot tub were closed due to construction. It also said they would call me back. They called an hour later and came up immediately. She got the tv on. After she left I still couldn’t get the remote to work and finally figured out that it was set up for voice commands and most of the buttons were useless. Anyway, while I was walking down a hallway I saw the pool and noticed people swimming. It was evening the day before I checked out so I didn’t get to use the pool. I was able to relax, though so I did accomplish what I went for."
