Beachfront House w/ Wi-Fi on Amazing Lake Michigan Site! Close to Sturgeon Bay

Come relax in this secluded getaway on the shore of amazing Lake Michigan. The property boasts 100 feet of waterfront, which provides a calming backdrop to your activities. Watch the sun rise from the porch while you have your coffee, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves. The living room provides a gorgeous view out over the lake. Although the house feels tucked away in nature, it is close to everything! Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay and Fish Creek are just a 20-minute drive from the house. It’s even convenient to get to Lambeau Field to see the Packers only an hour away. Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park are just minutes away, as well as local businesses offering lots of outdoor activities in the area. The location offers simple access to the many restaurants, theaters, and festivals that Door County has to offer.
The house has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and dining area, and a large deck. In the summer, use the outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the lake. A grill is available during warm weather for the perfect cookout, followed by a bonfire in the outdoor fire pit. There is free high-speed internet and smart TV, self check-in, and free parking. Coffee and tea are provided for all guests. This house is a perfect spot no matter your itinerary: stay home in the cozy cottage, or use it as your home base as you travel and sightsee throughout the area.
In the winter the area has excellent hiking and snowshoeing.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

Fantastic unique cabin - super cozy with a great lake view - short drive to anything you'd want to do, or just stay in and listen to the waves crash upon the shore.

Beautiful spot on Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was wonderful. We were able to kayak right from our own little beach, just down the stairs. The landscapes you see from the water are lovely. The great room is nicely and uniquely decorated and comfortable. The steep stairs to the kitchen were OK for us but might be challenging for some.

Beautiful, relaxing retreat

If you want a beautiful location with peace and solitude, check this place out! I have stayed here previously, and both times have been lovely. Very private and quiet. Just a heads up, the stairs to the beach are not sturdy…be super careful!

Cute cottage on Lake Michigan

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were not there except for the evenings but the home was clean and included all the coffee and tea we could drink! Wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. The outdoor fire pit looked lovely. Thank you for a really nice stay!

Beautiful View

We had an amazing time at this beautiful spot on Lake Michigan. We spent one day in the water and then the evening by the fire. It was such a peaceful location. The location is perfect for exploring Door County. The communication was awesome. I highly recommend!

Amazing Place to Stay

This home was a perfect rental on the East side of the Door Co Peninsula. More cozy than the pictures and better views as well! It is very close to Cave Point and not far from the other natural wonders in the area. Jackson Port itself is a very charming town. The house itself is very well-appointed and clean. The hosts are quick to respond if you have any questions. We hope to return one day soon!

Spring Break Getaway

Wonderful Girls Weekend

What a wonderful place to enjoy our girls get-away! Such a beautiful home with all the right amenities - fire pit with a great view of the stars, deck for coffee and amazing sunrises, and easy access to local attractions. Eric was so responsive to our questions and we felt very well taken care of. We appreciated all the recommendations for day adventures and dining out. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a cozy abode with just the right amount of privacy but everything you'd want/need just around the corner!

A dream

We stayed one week at Jess and Eric's lovely lakeside home and it was perfect. Their home was just as pictured: clean, bright, comfortable, and right on the water (down the stairs). We napped, played board games, walked to town for food, swam, and enjoyed the firepit. We heard no human sounds-- just lake water and trees. It was perfect and we cannot wait to return.

What a wonderful cabin along Lake Michigan!

This place has it all: wonderful hosts, a prime lake location, a functional kitchen, a grill and firepit outside, natural light looking out at the lake, outside space to watch the pelicans and listen to the waves, and a spot not too far to locations all over the peninsula, especially close to Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park. You will not be disappointed if you book this place! One note: There are steep steps to get from the living room and bedrooms to the kitchen and bathroom with shower. It wasn't an issue for us, but keep that in mind. Definitely a place I would like to come back to - and I rarely visit the same places!

Terrific location and view

This cute little cottage is in a terrific location for exploring Door County and the "lake side." The kitchen is small but functional if you are organized and there is an outdoor grill which helps. We had beautiful sunrises, amazing full moon views over the lake, and one morning two foxes chasing one another before dawn! One small caveat is the stairs from the upper level to the main living area. If you are cooking outside, you need to either carry things around outside, or down some pretty steep inside stairs and out the patio doors. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this quiet cottage again!

Cute and cozy

The cottage was nice and clean. However, we did have concerns with safety. The stairs in the cottage are very steep, and there is only one hand rail. We did not attempt to even try to go down to the beach because the stairway did not look safe or sturdy. The pictures of the stairway to the beach were deceiving. If these item are upgraded then I would say this cottage is terrific.

For Nature Lovers

Our mini vacation was perfect! When we walked in the door, we were taken back to a happy time in both of our lives when our parents had cabins and every space had to be utilized. It is so cozy, clean and comfortable. What really impressed us though was the natural beauty all around. Of course Lake Michigan was beautiful to watch and listen to the waves, but the cabin is built into a cliff so there is natural flagstone all around. Even the way the roots of the trees are climbing the hill is unique and beautiful. If you appreciate natural things, you will love this property. Our first day was warm for winter in Wisconsin so we enjoyed coffee outside (which the owners provide). Typical Wisconsin greeted us our second morning with 14 degrees and ice on the lake's surface. It was fun for us braving the range of temps. The owners have thought of everything and you can tell they truly want you to enjoy your stay. The cabin itself has its own character which we loved. Upstairs is the cozy kitchen and bathroom; downstairs you can spread out with two bedrooms, a large family room and then a cute sitting areas outside the laundry/half bath. We would stay here again! Thank you Eric and Jess!

Beautiful view!

Great location on quiet side but close to everything with cross roads. Loved the view and sound of the waves! The kitchen had a standout view when raining and the deck was great on good days.
