We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely cottage! Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the beautiful grounds, pond, and firepit! My kids and dog enjoyed the wide open spaces and fishing. Would love to come back next year!

Absolutely beautiful house and setting. All the basics (and then some) provided - towels, shampo/soaps, all kitchen dishes and cooking tools, keurig, tv, and wifi. Peaceful setting with fire ring, huge trees, beautiful flowers, variety of birds. Sit in the suspended egg chairs and tke it all in! We loved our stay and plan on booking again when we return to the area.

It is a very clean, nicely-decorated, cozy cottage on a beautiful property! The kitchen and bedrooms have all the necessities for a comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful relaxing on the deck with a view of the mountains and lovely tree-shaded back yard. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be, based on the description.

This property truly exceeded our expectations. The grounds are huge and beautiful...you could spend hours just relaxing particularly in the swinging 'egg chairs'! Distance from Front Royal was just perfect at 10 to 15 minutes. The real surprise though was the size of the cottage. With a party of 4, including 2 older teenagers, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath can run a bit small. The common living space...living room and kitchen in particular...are very spacious. While we only had 2 nights this trip, I would not hesitate to stay again for a full week. Everything else was frankly perfect...cottage was clean and very well appointed. Check in/check out... communication with owner in general... completely issue free. Would highly recommend this property and hope to enjoy it myself again!

This was the cutest cottage we've ever stayed in. Very clean, lovely cottage decor, the outside was absolutely beautiful, and the entire estate is beautiful. We had a campife one evening, walked around their pond, and star gazed most of the evenings. It's perfectly placed between Front Royal and Strasburg. Can go hiking in the Shenandoah one day and then along Big Schloss in WV the next. Will be back for sure

Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.

Beautiful little house, wonderful location

We spent a perfect weekend enjoying the coziness of the house, the magic of the land around it with our dog and the comfort of an evening around the fire pit watching the sun set behind the mountains! The hikes all around are first class and Christine thought of everything to make our stay perfect!

Great Stay at the Cottage

My sister and I had a weekend getaway at this quaint cottage, and it was so lovely! The grounds are beautiful, and the house was clean, inviting, and had everything we needed. I had a couple of questions for the owner as well and she responded very quickly and was so helpful. This was a very comfortable stay and I will be back!

Quaint farmhouse 10 minutes from interstate.

This house suited our needs as we were driving across country to move my daughter for college, and had a moving truck, so we were able to park right outside the front door, in a quiet secluded property. Good hospitality from owner, and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

A Hidden Gem

Everything was perfect! Clean, comfy, and peaceful. The pictures really do not do this property justice. Lots of neat details inside and out. The hostess is easy to get in touch with and truly cares about your stay! We plan to return.

This was one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The listing was accurate. There were plenty of trails to walk our dogs, the grass was freshly cut, and there were beautiful sunsets both evenings. The location was very convenient to the northern end of Shenandoah National Park. It was a beautiful setting. We wished we had more days to stay there.
