🌃 In the heart of the Neustadt district, an unparalleled urban creation, built to make Strasbourg a showcase of Prussian power, the Neustadt is distinguished by its grandiose squares, its wide airy avenues lined with trees but also by an alliance happy between the monumental and a keen sense of the landscape. It is now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This astonishing post-Haussmann district shows certain architectural extravagances, happily mixing Italian neo-Renaissance, neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau. Following the destruction of the Second World War, it remains one of the last testimonies of German architecture from the end of the 19th century.

Among the must-see places: the Place de la République, the avenue de la Liberté, the Art Nouveau buildings.
